KALMING KREATIONS

Kalming Kreations is owned and run by Suffolk-based mother and daughter duo, Carlie and Maria. What started as a means of therapy for autistic daughter Maria, has been turned into a thriving business, making a wide variety of handcrafted items from jewellery, and greeting cards, to diamond art, resin, and so much more. They are constantly creating new items and expanding their range. See in store for the latest creations!

Disabled Mum Carlie specialises in card craft and jewellery, while Maria focuses on diamond art and resin. They began about seven years ago, attending craft fairs and markets throughout the year, and it was following the Christmas Craft Fair at Stonham Barns Park in 2022, that they were given the opportunity of renting a Pod Shop (a half-size shop ideal for those starting out). They opened in January 2023, and by the summer had outgrown it. They were fortunate that a larger shop in a better location on site became available and moved in September to their current shop.

Carlie and Maria are very customer-oriented and take on board feedback from their clients, using it to improve products and develop new ones, thereby improving the customer experience. The duo are able to offer a bespoke service on many items, customising them to client requirements.

Under the banner of Kalming Kreations is Shadow Memorials, a bespoke resin service incorporating the ashes or fur of beloved pets (and some humans, too!).

They also give a helping hand to other disabled crafters just starting out, featuring their products for sale both in store, and online. They stock the works of Snapshot Scenics, and have recently welcomed The Woodside Cabin, which will soon be online. Carlie and Maria actively support MIND, and Autism Awareness through the sale of some of their products.
