Dub Vacation is Back …

The Family Camping Holiday for VW Lovers!

Celebrating 10 years in Suffolk this year …

Stonham Barns Park is preparing to welcome Dub Vacation to its showground from 2-8 August, the family camping holiday for VW lovers and owners.

Dub Vacation was started in 2011 by Brett Hawksbee, founder of ‘Bug Jam’, co-founder of VWDRC and veteran promotor of more than 150 VW events over the past 30 years.  It is held annually in Suffolk and 2021 will celebrate 10 years of the event.

It is an event for all ages.  Groups of adults and families attend in similar numbers.  It is not extensively advertised as it is an event with limited numbers as there are major activities every day and lots of workshops to attend throughout the week.

Explains Events Manager David Sandpearl, ‘Dub Vacation is an activity holiday for people who love VW cars and vans.  A real family event, the kids just love it.  There is so much to see and do.  And that’s at the end of the leisurely drive to Suffolk which is a highly celebrated annual VW cruise.’

The price includes camping charges, depending on day of arrival and includes entertainment every evening.  Accommodation options for the week at Stonham Barns Park include tents, bell tents and static caravans and lodges to rent, motorhome pitches and a caravan site are available too.

Apart from being different in that it is a full week-long VW event; it is also very much a ‘participation’ event and many who come along also showcase their own special skills.  Regular attendees now run free classes themselves from belly dancing to festival headband making, and for the kids, painting pottery, face-painting classes, build a boxcar and kids drive in movie!

Tickets for the event can be booked online by visiting www.stonhambarns.co.uk

A standard pitch (full week plus camping including 1 General Lead Admission Ticket) is £125.00.  Additional General Admission Tickets (as part of the same booking) are £75.00.
Under 12s (as part of the same booking) FREE. Day Tickets are £30.00 Under 12s (when purchased in conjunction with a General Admission Ticket) FREE.

Stonham Barns Park is a day out for all the family to suit all ages.
