EVENT DESCRIPTION

Boundless Creativity is a brand-new event launching in 2026, organised by Sakura Studio Gallery.

This vibrant festival celebrates the arts and creativity within our local community and wider region. More than a traditional exhibition, market, or show, Boundless Creativity is designed to be fully participatory—inviting visitors to get involved, experiment, and create, rather than simply observe.

At its heart, the festival is committed to affordability, accessibility, and supporting local creatives, while also raising funds for charity. The aim is to create an inclusive and welcoming space where creativity is encouraged, shared, and celebrated by all.

Working with a diverse range of artists and creators, the event will feature demonstrations, have-a-go sessions, and mini workshops across a broad spectrum of creative disciplines, including visual arts, music, theatre, dance, and more. Local charity Suffolk Sight will explore accessible creative activities to engage the community, while Cohere Arts will also deliver a dedicated activity or workshop.

The festival will include a small annual Young Artists Showcase, potentially presented as an open-air pop-up or hosted within the barn. This showcase will provide emerging artists with the opportunity to display their work and receive encouragement and support at the beginning of their creative journeys.

Throughout the event, artists, performers, and creators will give talks in the barn, offering valuable insight into creative careers, education pathways, and the many ways artistic skills and passions can be developed and applied.

A key highlight of Boundless Creativity will be a series of communal art projects, inviting visitors to contribute to large-scale collaborative works over the course of the festival. These pieces will reflect the rich creativity of our local area and will be used to raise funds for charities within our community.
