Stonham Barns Park to feature US classics spanning six decades
The American Car Show 2025 – in association with the Knuckle Busters Car Club – will be staged at Stonham Barns Park again this year on Sunday 21 September. It will be strongly supported by the classic car community who will be exhibiting an array of opulent cars, trucks and hot rods.
It follows on from the Knuckle Busters car and truck day recently staged at the venue.
Cars and trucks at The American Car Show will span the last six decades, and include Chevys, Mustangs, Buicks, Corvettes and Fords and many more classics. Each of the all-American exhibits will be on display for a stunning ‘show and shine’ display in the showground with trophies given for the best in categories. Mid-Suffolk Showground regular – MC and expert commentator – John Price will be in the show ring for exhibitor chat time during the awards ceremony.
Around 200 cars, trucks and hot rods are expected to attend the show.
Also at the show will be Live music provided by DJs and bands – and many visitors and exhibitors will be in 50s-style dress. There will also be Walkabout Characters, Showring Displays, trade and club stands, an Autojumble and food and drink outlets.
Speaking about the show, David Sandpearl Stonham Barns Park Events Manager, says, ‘These American exhibits are always outstanding – and with the music, food and stalls to go with the cars and trucks – visitors always enjoy the friendly vibe of the day.’
‘The exhibits are always so head-turning, so bright and so brazen that you can barely believe how long ago they were manufactured. The time, effort and budget that goes into maintaining and enhancing these cars shows the absolute dedication of the owners – they love their cars and trucks, and they are never happier than when they are showing them off on days like these!’
‘Having these awe-inspiring exhibits all together in one place always makes for such a memorable show.’
‘For many of our visitors this is a favourite event!’
