The Legends Sports Bar Big Screens will be Showing England Matches throughout the campaign

Stonham Barns Park – one of Suffolk’s premier leisure, retail and holiday destinations – is hoping to bring the community together to watch the England World Cup football campaign in the comfort of Legends Sports Bar.

The FIFA Live Sport action will be showing from Sunday 20 November Qatar v Ecuador, Monday 21 November England’s opening game with Iran, Friday 25 November Wales v Iran and England v USA, Tuesday 29 November England v Wales and then the resulting fixtures on 3, 4, 9, 10, 13, 14 December and the World Cup Final on Saturday 18 December with kick off at 3pm.

The Legends Sports Bar is part of a new facility for the holiday park which will be the setting for some events covering a multitude of sports including darts, football, rugby, cricket, horse racing, and motorsport.

The World Cup campaign during November and December will be the focus for football fans who will be able to enjoy drinks and food as they watch these key England games.  Other games will be shown too to reflect the general football action.

Director Keith Forward said, ‘Legends Sports Bar is the focus for all things entertainment at Stonham Barns Park.  We were pleased to be able to create a World Cup hub for the community to enjoy all the sporting action.  It will mean that people can get together and share the experience – whether good or not so good!’

‘The England Lionesses have recently shown the world how football can be played.  It would be a great end to the year if the England men’s team could pull off a similar success. Win or lose, we will be offering live coverage for football fans to make some great memories this winter.’

‘We’re hoping that Legends Sports Bar – like others offering big screen TV – will be the answer to getting involved in the atmosphere without having to make the long, expensive – and controversial – trip to Qatar.’

Legends Sports Bar will be open from 11.00am to 11.00pm – the match times vary throughout the campaign.  Seven 60-inch TVs are available with other smaller screens to make sure that all visitors to the venue have an unobstructed view of the football action. Further details will be available on social media including Facebook and Instagram.
