Highlights included Wall of Death and 2Bros Stunt Team

Stonham Barns Park – one of Suffolk’s premier leisure, holiday and retail venues – has staged its annual Motorcycle Show on Sunday 5th May – and it was attended by a huge crowd.

The show featured around 2000 bikes and a whole host of attractions including the jaw-dropping Wall of Death and the ever-popular 2Bros Stunt Team.

The show – for motorcycle enthusiasts everywhere – featured award-winning sports bikes, café racers, old school choppers, lifestyle products, show ring displays, trade and dealership stands, autojumble, live bands, bars and hot food outlets.

Multiple show trophy categories were judged for awards on the day and there was a full programme of events including the 2Bros Stunt Team, a professional street bike freestyle stunt team, who performed a choreographed show featuring the very latest cutting-edge street bike freestyle tricks.  https://www.2bros.co.uk/  Friends and stunt riders Mark, Van Driel and Paul Todd were joined by Katrina Van Driel to put on an adrenaline filled show featuring so many impossible to believe stunts, drifting and an exhilarating head-to-head competition to complete the show.  With helmet microphones set up Mark and Paul commentated and interacted with crowd while performing the various stunts and tricks.

Another major highlight of the show was the oldest surviving Wall of Death in the UK!

The Wall of Death has been synonymous with speed and danger since its conception back in the early part of the 20th century. The Original Wall of Death harks back to those early days, with the Wall being constructed in 1928, and the bikes, Indian Scouts, made in 1921. All those who see the show will remember it for the rest of their life.

The noise, the speed, the smell, the proximity of the bikes ridden to the top of the wall, barely 6 inches from the audience is an experience that will never to be forgotten!

Said Luke Fox of the Wall of Death show team, ‘We love the Stonham Motorcycle Show.  It’s such a mega day in the show calendar.  The bikes, the atmosphere and the extreme demonstrations make it one not to be missed.  We loved entertaining the crowds again in this, our fourth, year at the show.’

Josh Forward of Stonham Barns Park says: ‘The Motorcycle Show is the all-action event that brings in enthusiasts from all over the East of England.  So many ultra-cool bikes in one place and the chance for bike owners to swap stories of bike builds.’
