Stonham Barns Park hosts Grand Slam Doubles Event

Stonham Barns Park – one of Suffolk’s premier leisure, retail and holiday destinations – is to host a new darts tournament on Saturday 18 November in the company of some of the countries top players, including PDC tour card holders, Stephen Burton, Ryan Meikle and Keegan Brown. Also playing will be recent World Senior Darts event winner Kevin Edwards, former world youth champion James Hubbard and England International Jo Locke.

The Grand Slam Doubles event has a full entry of 160 players.  Organised by Evolution Darts, with the support of Target Darts and The Darts Referee (you tubes no1 darts influencer), it has a £2000 prize fund with competitors coming from all over the UK to play at the community venue The Barn.

Stonham Barns Park has been hosting various darts events at the new Legends Sports Bar – named in honour of a variety of sporting legends – since its opening with one of the most recent being hosted by famous names from the world of darts, Russ Bray and Ipswich-based Keith Deller.

The Grand Slam Doubles tournament – starting at 12.00noon – will include a full quota of 160 players playing a Round Robin format.  There will be a fully licensed bar available for players and supporters.

Next year a £7000 Suffolk Super Series event is being planned by Evolution Darts. With a qualifying event and the Grand Finals day being hosted at Stonham Barns Park.
