Stonham Sounds brings two country music festivals to Stonham Barns Park

The much-loved Stonham Barns Park Open Air CMF is returning to the leisure, holiday and retail destination on (Saturday and Sunday) 10 and 11 September featuring county music bands and artists from across the region.  It will be followed by Barnfest CMF from Friday 30 September –  Sunday 2 October.

The Country Music Festivals are now part of the new Stonham Sounds calendar of events introduced by the owners of Stonham Barns Park to showcase more musical talent in mid-Suffolk.  It is bringing a diverse range of live music and entertainment to the venue during autumn/winter 2022.

Open Air CMF will feature Brian Mann, Stone Cold Country, Jayne Allison New West, Kevin Barry, Marian Curry and Ally Harron and Chris Mezza over the course of the weekend.  As with most music festivals, Day Tickets can be purchased for £15 per person and pre-booked 2-Day Tickets are £25 per person. Booking can be in advance, or visitors can pay at the door.  Food and drink will be available throughout the weekend. There is a large camping area for caravans, motorhomes or tents with no pitch fees when visitors buy a weekend ticket.  For those who do not own their own home on wheels or under canvas there are 4, 6 or 8 berth static holiday homes to hire.

Said Fraser Carson, Events Manager at Stonham Barns Park, ‘The demand for country music events is as high as ever in the region.  Country music is a favourite with so many people of all different ages and the artists appearing this year all have dedicated followings so we are looking forward to welcoming a good crowd.  It’s a little bit of Nashville in the heart of Suffolk.  What could be better during a summer like this one?’

‘Book tickets or turn up on the day – everyone’s welcome.’
