Highlights include Bike Battle and Wall of Death showcases

Stonham Barns Park is staging its annual Motorcycle Show on Sunday 7th May 2023 – and it will feature a whole host of attractions including the jaw-dropping Wall of Death!

The show – for motorcycle enthusiasts everywhere – will feature award-winning sports bikes, café racers, old school choppers, lifestyle products, showring displays, trade and dealership stands, autojumble, live bands, bars and hot food outlets.

Multiple show trophy categories will be judged for awards on the day and there will be a full programme of events to thrill including the 2Bros Stunt Team, a professional street bike freestyle stunt team, who will be performing a choreographed show with the very latest cutting-edge street bike freestyle tricks. https://www.2bros.co.uk/

World Class stunt rider Lee Musselwhite will also feature in the showring with his stunning Extreme Bike Battle. The UK’s best riders from FMX, BMX, & MTB go head-to-head in this epic stunt battle to find out who is the king of two wheels. http://extremebikebattle.co.uk/

Extreme Wheelie a motorcycle simulator and a virtual reality experience in one – will also be present on the day. It gives riders experience of slow and high-speed wheelies in a safe, controlled environment without damaging themselves or their bike. If you have always longed for the thrill of the elusive wheelie or want to know how to control the unexpected wheelie – you will get the chance at the show. There will be a £10 per session fee. More information can be found at https://extremewheelie.co.uk/

And the highlight of the show is the oldest surviving Wall of Death in the UK. The Wall of Death has been synonymous with speed and danger since its conception back in the early part of the 20th century. The Original Wall of Death harks back to those early days, with the Wall being constructed in 1928, and the bikes, Indian Scouts, made in 1921. All those who see the show will remember it for the rest of their life. The noise, the speed, the smell, the proximity of the bikes ridden to the top of the wall, barely 6 inches from the audience – an experience never to be forgotten! There will be a £2 per person entrance fee. More information can be found at www.originalwallofdeath.co.uk

Said Luke Fox of the Wall of Death show team, ‘We love the Stonham Motorcycle Show.  It’s such an awesome day in the show calendar.  The bikes, the atmosphere and the extreme demonstrations make it one not to be missed.  We will be looking to set the standard in entertainment with the Wall of Death for a second year.  It’s just great to get the feedback from those who watch the show.  They are always in awe of what they have witnessed. You have to see it – at least once in a lifetime!’

Mark Warren of Stonham Barns Park says: ‘The Motorcycle Show is a much-loved, all action event that brings in enthusiasts from all over the East of England.  So many ultra-cool bikes in one place and the chance for bike owners to swap stories of bike builds. We have got so many attractions to fit in this year, it will be the sight of magnificent machines and the sound of engines starting up all through the day.  And we have the Wall of Death back by popular demand. It’s a must-see for anyone who loves bikes, speed and action!’
