Up-and-coming artist storms gig at NEC’s Classic Car Show

With a combined streams and views of over 700,000 on Spotify and YouTube, Norfolk-born singer songwriter Breeze Redwine is one of the most original and exciting rising-stars around.

Already dubbed as ‘One of the hottest country names to leap out of the UK’ and with her new release Pretty Tough Girl (co-written with number 1 selling country artist Harley Moon Kemp) Breeze has completed a tour of the UK with a performance on Sir Paul McCartney’s Wings Tour Bus which is celebrating its 50 Year Anniversary this year!

The WNO 481 1972 Wings Tour Bus took the band rock and rolling across Europe after the glory days of The Beatles. The tour was hotly pursued by the world’s media for over 7,500 miles across 9 countries and 25 cities.   It has recently been turned into a mobile performance stage and its first gig was staged at the NEC Classic Motor Show in Birmingham (11-13 November) supported by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs organisation.

Breeze stormed her set covering some of the most-popular Beatles songs and one or two of her own. She performed alongside The Paul McCartney Story Tribute Band/ELO Beatles Beyond and others on the first day of the show.

Said Breeze, ‘I am truly honoured to be singing on the bus that Sir Paul McCartney used as his official tour bus with Wings.  It’s a surreal experience and a totally amazing feeling to be on the same touring platform as used by Wings and the fabulous Beatles/ELO tribute band. We are looking back at some legendary musicians who famously shaped British music.’

‘It’s the first time the bus has been out since its complete renovation and so it makes it all the more special. The bus is restored, revamped and ready to rock!’

‘For aspiring artists, there’s no better grounding than to learn from the past.  I hope that this look back in music history will help me focus on being the best performance artist I can be moving into next year – and my next tour.’

19-year-old Breeze has been working with her management company Stonham Sounds (a part of Stonham Barns Park) to showcase her phenomenal vocal style.  She has also received inspired vocal coaching from industry giants Stevie Lange and Rietta Austin.

Breeze is currently studying for a BA in Film and Moving Images at the Norwich University of the Arts as well as pursuing her journey into music.

She writes narrative songs with depth and feeling about life from a young, female perspective. The country-loving teen was raised in Harleston, Norfolk. She is inspired by Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Miley Cyrus and Imagine Dragons. Her lyrics are edgy and honest – and she exudes a feel-good, country pop vibe – with attitude. She also delivers power ballads, often focusing on love, happiness, and life lessons. Occasionally she touches on more sensitive issues, including the mental health of young people.

Harley Moon Kemp – the daughter of musician, actor and director, Martin Kemp of Spandau Ballet and Shirlie Holliman of Pepsi and Shirlie – has been working with Breeze on the development of her material and performance to help take her to the next level in her music career.  Breeze felt an instant connection with Harley Moon since they began working together.  This has enhanced her song writing skills and tapped into some strong emotions and feelings that she has channelled into her new single Pretty Tough Girl.  Breeze says. ‘We hit it off from the first time we sat down together and it’s awesome to be writing with someone so talented.  Her musical heritage shines through as she works.  She encourages me to excel in my approach to life and it’s helping to bring out the best in my vocal performance.’

Breeze brings out some beautifully soft vocals to ease into the new track before hitting the chorus and introducing some powerful vocal loops to create the platform for another spellbinding release. Pretty Tough Girl describes the ‘tough love’ of growing up – when people don’t always listen to your opinions – and reveals that she is not always as strong as people think she is.

Breeze released Money and Never Let You Go in 2021. Both championed by BBC Introducing, she has also had her singles featured on UK, USA and Canadian radio stations.  Her early release, Courage, independently recorded and released, began her journey into the music business. Now becoming widely known on the UK music scene, she is dedicated to her loyal fan base with views, plays and followers growing exponentially.

Breeze has a growing following from the UK around the world.  She began her music journey by winning a major music performance show in the US.  Her notable performances include, Long Beach and LA, California; the O2 and Dingwalls, London; the NEC Birmingham; and many appearances in the East of England, across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
