Stonham Barns Park featured US classics spanning six decades

The American Car Show 2023 – in association with the Knuckle Busters Car Club – was strongly supported by the classic car community exhibiting a dazzling array of cars, trucks and hot rods.  It followed on from the Knuckle Busters car and truck day recently staged at the venue.

Cars on show at The American Car Show spanned the last six decades, and included Chevys, Mustangs, Buicks, Corvettes and Fords and many more classics. Each of the exhibits was on display for a stunning ‘show and shine’ display in the showground with trophies given for the best in categories.

Around 200 cars, trucks and hot rods attended the show with a black and orange pick up winning the best car in show award.

Live music on the day was provided by DJ Nadge, The Rat Pack and Da Bluz Brothers – and many visitors and exhibitors were in 50s-style dress. There were also Walkabout Characters, Showring Displays, trade and club stands, an Autojumble and food and drink outlets.

Speaking about the event, Terri Forward at Stonham Barns Park says, ‘These American exhibits are always awesome – and with the music to go with the cars – visitors always enjoy the atmosphere and the day.’

‘These car collectors are devoted to restoring and showing their prized vehicles and each year the standard increases dramatically. Having these colourful exhibits all together in one place always makes for such a powerful show.’
