COUNTRYSIDE & FALCONRY FAIR on September 15th & 16th
Proceeds from the event will go towards the care & conservation of East Anglia’s injured wild owls and other birds of prey provided by the show sponsors, the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary.
Showcasing country pursuits & activities, wildlife conservation, rural crafts, country artists, local crafts and food producers, stars of this years arena events will be The Horse &
Falconry Spectacular with horses from “THE GAME OF THRONES” plus others including Falconry Displays, The Dog & Duck Show, Heavy Horses, Beagle Hounds, Carriage Driving and Gun Dog Displays.
In support will be a showcase for East Anglia’s country pursuits and crafts including archery, country bookshop, beekeeper’s honey stall, a butterfly conservation group, chainsaw carving demonstrations, country clothing &footwear, equine interests including tack & turnout, falconry, ferret and gundog displays, garden furniture & tools, ground care, Morris Dancing, nest boxes, fishing tackle and fly casting, taxidermy, the International Bird Register, donkey rides & mini donkeys, a medieval village, a shepherdess, sculptural metalwork and a range of ‘try-your-hand’ sporting activities like electronic clay-pigeon shooting.
