EVENT DESCRIPTION

Come along to History Alive East Anglia’s newest Re-enactment History Event. See History come alive before your eyes. Come and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of times gone past. Thrilling Combat Displays. Experience Living History Encampments from Viking Warriors to American Settlers and more!

There are many different re-enactment groups from various stages of the periodic era that provide complete living history from dark age medicine, tribal food and drink to other crafts and skills along with armour and weaponry demonstration. There is also periodic music and entertainment to suit all ages.

Some of the groups at the show include: Lord Hoptons Regiment of Foote (English Civil War), Hoplite Association Living History (Ancient Greeks), Herigas Hundas (Dark Age Saxons), Ormsgard (Dark Age Saxons), Wuffa (Dark Age Vikings), Colchester Living History Society (Medieval), Crusaders Reenactment Group (Medieval), Two Apothercaries (War of The Roses), Southern Skirmish – Soscans (American Civil War), Speerfish Creek (19th Century American Settlers), La Columna (Spanish Civil War), WW2 ‘Over There’ – (US Infantry WW2), Das Heer – (WW2 German Infantry), Cavalry – (1700’s Jacobite Rebellion) Plus others TBC.
